Trail description and photos of Penndel/Mason Dixon Trail in the White Clay Creek Preserve. Fun, easy hike for the whole family. And a little history about this unique area of PA.
The Shenandoah Mt Trail is a 30 + mile trail you can do as a backpacking trip or sections of it as day hikes. Here’s my photos of an easy 2 mile up and back afternoon hike with an awesome view of the George Washington National Forest. Highly recommended!
This huge tower called Governor Dick is now part of a beautiful park with about 15 miles of hiking, biking and horse trails nestled in the lovely hills of Mt Gretna. This is a childhood favorite place of mine I loved to roam, read my story and see photos of my fun afternoon adventure in PA.
The NEW Tri-State Marker Trail or Tri-State Trail is a 4 mile loop trail that meanders through Delaware and Pennsylvania only stepping into Maryland at the Tri-State marker site. This historical marker is where 3 states come together – Delaware (DE), Pennsylvania (PA) and Maryland (MD) and until recently was on private property, not accessible to the public. The only way to get here was to bushwhack through boggy marshes, lots of stream crossings. You definitely had to know the coordinates of where it was or you weren’t gong to find it easily.
